Inventor Publisher: Some Assembly Required

Class Description

In this hands-on lab, you will learn how quickly you can create technical documentation for use as assembly instructions or parts book manuals. The technical documentation can consist of both printed material and interactive 3D content. In this class, you will learn how to import 3D CAD data, explode the assembly into snapshots, annotate the snapshots, and then publish the documentation to Microsoft® Word, and a 3D PDF file. After documenting the assembly, you will make a change to the assembly and then update the snapshots.

Key Learning

• Publish the snapshots to Microsoft® Word and a 3D PDF file
• Import 3D CAD data
• Annotate the snapshots with dimensions, arrows, sections, and detail views
• Explode an assembly into multiple snapshots
