During this international student competition you’ll get to showcase your creativity in crafting solutions for a better world. Gain invaluable experience, learn from experts and contribute to a more sustainable future.
Enhance your Autodesk Fusion skills and compete against other student teams. During our two-day Designathon you’ll find out how digital design tools are used to have a positive environmental impact. You’ll also take part in a design challenge where you will compete against other engineering and industrial design students around the world.
WHAT’S THE DESIGNATHON?
- Two-day international online design challenge for engineering and industrial design students
- Learn about Autodesk Fusion and key work flows
- Compete against other student teams in the Designathon challenge
- Learn and compete as a team (2-3 students on each team)
Entry form
Requirements
- You must be a student at a technical college, university or an Autodesk Authorised Academic Partner
- You must enter as a team – the minimum team size is 2 people, the maximum is 3 people
- You must participate in both days of the Designathon
- Access to a computer with an internet connection to take part
- You must create an Autodesk account, install and activate Autodesk Fusion on your machine
PRIZES AND RECOGNITION
- Prizes:
- 1st: $1,500
- 2nd: $1,000
- 3rd: $500
- Online awards ceremony
- Prize winner certificates – showcase your achievement
- Certificates of participation – include these in your portfolio
- Social icons and stories – showcase your learning to potential employers and your tutors

- 1 April: Designathon registration opens
- April – June: Autodesk Fusion training available on-demand
- 13 June: Designathon registration closes
- 20 June: Online training session
- 27 June: Best practice and training session by our Autodesk experts
- 28 June: Designathon challenge
- July: Designathon awards ceremony – winners announced
