AUTODESK SUBSCRIPTION

GET THE RIGHT SUBSCRIPTION FOR YOUR BUSINESS

Available product versions

As a subscriber to a current version of Autodesk software, you have access to previous versions of the software as part of your subscription benefits. This privilege is granted to you through the Autodesk Previous Version Rights, which allow you to install and utilize specific previous versions of the software, in addition to the most up-to-date version.

It is important to note that while you can enjoy the benefits of multiple versions of Autodesk software, the total number of licenses in use at any given time should not exceed the number of licenses included in your subscription. We kindly ask you to ensure compliance with this restriction to avoid any licensing issues.

One significant advantage of Autodesk software is its backward compatibility. This means that if you decide to upgrade to the latest version, you will still be able to access and work with your older drawings or files. This feature ensures that your workflow remains uninterrupted and allows you to seamlessly transition between different versions of the software as needed.

We encourage you to explore the potential of the previous version rights and take advantage of the flexibility they offer. If you have any questions regarding the installation, activation, or usage of previous versions of Autodesk software, our support team is here to assist you.

Single Sign-On

Autodesk now supports Single Sign-On (SSO) authentication for your Autodesk account, making it easier and more secure to access your tools.

Single sign-on (SSO) lets users access Autodesk products and services using the same email and password they use for your organisation. This means they only need to remember one password, and if they are already signed in to your organisation’s network, they will not need to sign in again to access Autodesk.

What value does SSO bring?

Enhanced security

SSO uses a single point of authentication, so passwords are received and validated only by the identity provider. Since users only need to remember one password, bad security habits such as writing down passwords are minimised.

SSO better user experience

Better user experience

Users only need to sign in once, and they do not need to remember multiple passwords. This saves time for users since they are less likely to need a password reset.

SSO streamlined administration

Streamlined administration

Admins only need to maintain one email/password combo for each user, and password policies applied to the network are also applied to Autodesk services. So if you revoke an employee’s email access, they will also lose access to Autodesk—no need to revoke access to each service individually.
