Autodesk’s 2027 State of Design & Make report examines how digital transformation, AI, sustainability and industry convergence are reshaping the way organisations design, make and build.
WHY IT MATTERS TO AFRICA
Across Africa, organisations are balancing growth and infrastructure demands with skills constraints, economic pressure and rapid technological change.
The 2027 findings highlight four areas with particular relevance to African industries:

- AI adoption is accelerating, while organisations work to turn investment into practical implementation
- Sustainability is increasingly being viewed as a source of competitive and commercial value

The report found that 98% of business leaders are seeing measurable benefits from digital transformation, yet 56% identify at least one skills-related barrier.
